Best and Brightest Awards

The Best & Brightest Awards was established in 2006 to recognize and honor Leon County's best high school seniors. This is a scholarship award program partnering with local Leon County area public and private high schools and World Class Schools of Leon County.

Students are nominated in one of 15 categories: Art, Athletics, Business, Career Technical, Drama/Performing Arts, English Language Arts, Foreign Language, Journalism/Media Production, Leadership, Mathematics, Music, Public Speaking, Science, Social Science and Technology. Continuous school and community involvement and leadership contributions throughout a student's high school career are essential to nomination success.

Major sponsors of the 2007 Best Brightest Awards are Envision Credit Union, Tallahassee Democrat, Ron Sachs Communications, Comcast, Rose Printing, WFSU, and Leon County Schools' Foundation.
